Challenges:

1. Child-like natural experience

Problem: Everyone finds language education unnatural. Achieving a "child-like" experience is the ideal solution, but most apps fail because their approach only scratches the surface of this vision. They end up reverting to traditional dilemmas in language learning.

Potential Solution: AI combined with innovative UX/UI has huge potential to reimagine a natural, child-like experience. This doesn’t mean imitating what children do but instead creating an equivalent experience with:

• Human-like feedback loops.
• Progressive learning materials embedded in the information input.
• Meaningful conversations that integrate naturally into daily life.

2. Learning outcome

Opportunity: A design that helps users realize they can conjugate vocab and construct sentences. Learning realization often happens when users construct their own words and sentences.

Approach:

• Provide progressive hints based on the learner’s progress.
• Measure outcomes in a way that is grounded and trustworthy.
• Truly understand the learner’s progress to build trust, encourage them, and push them further.

Risks:

• Users might find it frustrating if they don’t get it, questioning whether the methodology is effective.
• This requires building and testing the product to validate its effectiveness.

Opportunities:

• Use AI to motivate learners with personalized content that is meaningful to their lives.
• Use design to remove awkward interactions and make learning smooth.
• Use AI to calibrate and understand user progress.
